Overload Overload
In the 1970s, when the characteristics of the "Computer Age" were increasingly emerging, American futurist Alvin Toffler's seminal work "Future Shock" predicted the unprecedented speed and pace of technological change. The scope, which may lead to "destructive stress and intense disorientation" in humans, is envisioned as a dramatic impact leading the world to a "hyper-industrial society." In today's era of technological change, New World Amazing Gacha continues to expand our knowledge. What was once a fantasy has become a real experience in contemporary daily life, and the unknown potential of technology continues to grow exponentially. Matter and its properties are continuously expanded, boundaries are further blurred and disappeared, and things that are thought to be unrelated to each other are related and integrated with each other. All of this is growing in an overloaded state. I fantasize about fighting overload with overload, looking for the boundaries and attributes that are constantly being eroded in 8D cities like Chongqing. The work selects some fragments that create a sense of overload. When watching, from the microscopic world to the huge city of Chongqing, I try to implant overloaded emotions into the audience to fight against this complex overloaded world.
